Hosting is included for typical small-business traffic. Busier sites move to Growth after we talk, with hosting in your own account, billed directly by the host, so you never get a surprise bill from me. WordPress sites are quoted separately. Plans are monthly, starting when your site goes live, with a 3-month minimum and then 30 days’ notice to cancel.

How payment works.
Payment comes in three stages, and every payment comes off the package price, with no extra fees. No VAT is added: Hartstone Digital is not VAT registered.
25% to book your start date
Your deposit holds your slot. It isn’t refundable if you cancel or can’t go ahead on that date, but if I can’t start on your booked date, it’s refunded in full.
25% when you approve your designs
Due when you approve them, or 30 days after your start date, whichever comes first.
50% before launch
Due when you approve the finished site, before it goes live.

Your domain
Your domain name, registered in your name.
Your content
All your content, photos and text.
Your code
Your website’s code. If you ever leave a Managed Website plan, I transfer it to your own GitHub account free of charge, so another developer can take it on. If you’d like me to move your site to new hosting, that’s quoted at £65 an hour.
No surprises
Other running costs
Some services sit in your name rather than mine, so you stay in control. Most local businesses pay nothing for them beyond the domain.

- Shopify's monthly plan plus card fees, paid directly to Shopify.
